COMPUTER CENTRE

The Computer Centre of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences was established in 1976 with the aid of the Indian Council for Social Science Research (ICSSR). The Centre provides data processing training to M.Phil. and Ph.D. scholars from across the country and has been recognised as a Centre for Consultancy Data Processing and Analysis by the ICSSR.

Infrastructure

Systems: PIV Systems (50), Novell Netware Server, IBM Servers(2) for Internet and E-mail.

Software: Windows 2000, MS-Office XP, Visual Studio .NET, JAWS, SPSS 10.5

• Management Information System for M.A.in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations Programme.
• Computer Application in Social Work for M.A. in Social Work Programme.
• Computer Application in Research for Certificate in Research Methodology Programme.
