The Office of Students Affairs
The Students Affairs Office facilitates all the non academic aspects of a students life on the campus. They have successfully institutionalised systems and practices in the Hostels, the Dining Hall, Gymkhana, Health Centre and Students Union.
Their key contribution has specifically been in regularisation of hostel rules and procedures, Health Insurance, Crisis Management Cell, Medical and Counselling Services, Physical Fitness, Yoga and Gym activities and Canteen services. A comprehensive student guide book put together and distributed by the OSA at the beginning of every academic year leads students through various aspects of their stay in the campus.
The OSA and the TISS Students Union work hand in hand in all cultural/sports activities and student representation on committees such as Committee Against Sexual Harassment, Student Aid Committee, etc., are carried forward through the Union representatives.
