Offered about fifty Local, National and International level training programmes to various senior health care providers and helping professionals in the areas of Health Research, behavioural aspects of HIV/AIDS, Pre-test, Post-test and Supportive Counseling, Holistic Counseling, Sexuality, Reproductive Health, Yoga, Medical and Psychiatric Social Work, Mental Health, Communication, Leadership, Stress Management, Training Technology etc. Designed and developed a Course in Holistic Counseling, TISS, March 2002.

In 2004, Dr. Das was invited by WHO and the Ministry of Health, Union of Myanmar, as a Consultant to advise on national capacity building and technical expertise for improving Medical and Psychiatric Social Work in Myanmar.
He has over 12 years academic, field practice and research experience and has been a consultant to government, non-governmental organisations and industrial houses. He has actively participated and presented papers in many national/international conferences and seminars.
Dr. Das has designed and initiated a twelve-week Annual Training Programme in Holistic Counselling in TISS for senior-level helping professionals of NGOs and GOs. The Course strives to inculcate professional knowledge, attitude and skills in caring professionals.
