In private and in professional life we meet and are confronted with different people and situations. We experience ourselves and others differently. We experience ourselves sometimes as self-confident and well-balanced , sometimes we are annoyed about ourselves because we loose our self-monitoring. Sometimes communication and interaction run easy . At other times personal contact seems to be complex or even impossible. There are disturbances that we can hardly understand or handle. Some concerns seem to reach our counterpart easily and some other issues cannot be brought up . It seems impossible to deal with them.
People act and react very differently in diverse situations. TCI is not only a method of interaction but also an attitude to life that can enhance our understanding and feeling for ourselves and the diversity of people and situations around us. The more we are able to be aware of ourselves, our internal realities and our external environment, the more we will be able to handle complexities of everyday life.
I'm living my own chairperson, when I know my internal voices, boosters, energies and my different needs; and if I´m conscious of my abilities, strengths ,limitations and their impact on my decisions. I´m not almighty, I am not helpless, I´m partially powerful. The more we are understanding and accepting of this fact, the stronger and more competent we will feel ourselves in our different areas of life.
In our workshop we will get to know and develop the different aspects of Theme-Centered Interaction (TCI) according to Ruth Cohn, it´s axioms, postulates and auxiliary rules for everyday life. We will work on the possibilities we are offered for our own personal growth and a successful handling of our life and of it´s different situations. We welcome participants who are interested in TCI and want to know more about it and those, who want to reflect and deepen their knowledge and are motivated for the next steps of their personal development and certification.
