On October 2, 2015, the Union Human Resource Development Minister along with the Chief Minister of Nagaland inaugurated Mahatma Gandhi Human Development Academy (MGHDA) at Chuchuyimlang village of Mokokchung district in Nagaland. MGHDA is a joint initiative of the Institute and Nagaland Gandhi Ashram financially supported by The Hans Foundation, New Delhi.
