The Office of Alum Affairs (OAA), TISS had organised the Silver Jubilee Alumni Meet 2024 for the Class of 1999 at the Main Campus of TISS Mumbai on 29 and 30 November 2024. It was an event of nostalgia, connections and celebrations.

On Day 1 - 29 November 2024, Prof. Zubin Mulla, Dean, Office of Alum Affairs, welcomed the alums, which was followed by an inspiring Inaugural Address by Prof. Shankar Das, Pro Vice-Chancellor, TISS. Prof. Mulla shared a fascinating presentation on the history and growth of TISS, after which the Deans of the School of Social Work, TISS, Mumbai and the School of Management & Labour Studies addressed the gathering. Alums also shared fond memories of their time at TISS.

It was an emotional moment when mementoes were presented to retired faculty and staff who had been a part of the journey of the Class of 1999. In the evening, alums took a trip down memory lane with a campus tour, followed by a fun-filled treasure hunt organised by the Alumni Committee members. The day wrapped up with a vibrant cultural event at the quadrangle.

On Day 2 - 30 November 2024, the Alums from the Class of 1999 interacted with students from the current batches of various programmes. This gave students valuable insights and perspectives from those who had walked the same path before them. The day concluded with a session where the Alums could engage with current faculty members, fostering connections between past graduates and their former professors.
