About the Workshop: The purpose of the Transactional Analysis Workshop is to increase the participants' understanding about people – themselves and others. It uses the theory and methods of Transactional Analysis to explain why people behave as they do. It will also help the participants understand why some people 'communicate' the way they do, and why some people go around in circles, but going nowhere. In addition, it will also show you how to change what you want to change about your feelings, communications and behavior and relationships with other people, so that you can expand your people skills. We will follow the case study and experiential reflection methodology for the workshop including– 1) theory and reflection directly related to the cases, 2) exercises for individual and group use, and 3) suggested readings for further enquiry and research. We will cover the following topics as we go along:

Brief Profile of the Facilitator:
Sumit is Head HR for Corporate Functions for Pharma Major Cipla Limited. He has worked with as Head of HR Capability Development Centre of Excellence for RIL Group. He also led HR Business Partnership for Nagothane Manufacturing Division of Reliance Industries Limited for nearly 3 years.
He was selected by Reliance Industries to be part of the prestigious Reliance Accelerated Leadership Program (RALP) which had a selection ration of 1%. He has beenRecognized as Future Potential HR Leader by People Matters & DDI – Are you in the List 2012?
Sumit is an alumnus of TISS, he has completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling from Centre for Lifelong Lernng, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, and is a trained Transactional Analysis practitioner. Sumit is also an alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur where he completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations. He also hold BE Mechanical MANIT (REC), Bhopal.
Sumit is SAP HCM certified HR Professional. He also holds certificate in Global Professional inHuman Resources (GPHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from HRCI, USA, Senior Certified Professional in HR, SHRM USA (2014). He is a certified MBTI Specialist and masters the art of Transaction Analysis in professional Environment. He is pursuing Diploma in Counselling from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.
