Centre of Excellence in Teacher Education (CETE), TISS will be conducting two Workshops on the Multimodal Approach to Teacher Professional Development for South Asian Teacher Educators from 19-24 June and 27 June- 07 July respectively. These workshops are a part of the SATE Fellowship. They have sessions based on the programme’s courses on Constructive teaching with technology, Mentoring and Action Research courses. The first workshop will be conducted in an online mode wherein facilitators will join from India while 15 Fellows and 5 Field Mentors will gather in Kabul, Afghanistan.
The workshop at TISS will host around 15 the Maldives teacher educators and 15 Nepal teacher educators as Fellows for this programme. Moreover, Field Mentors and experts from these countries will also join the cohorts.
Enrichment sessions, Institutional visits, and sessions to interact with academic mentors for in-person guidance about the conception of the action research are scheduled for the participants. The fellowship is being conducted in a hybrid mode and is expected to end in November 2022.
