This Conference is organised by I Access Rights Mission, Centre for Disability Studies and Action in collaboration with Department of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra and Ali Yavar Jung National Institute of Speech and Hearing Disabilities.

The Conference aims to rethink and re-imagining disability in the context of the current legislation and policy framework to understand the current diverse needs of the persons with disability. This will enable professionals from multiple disciplines to gain knowledge, attitude, intervention strategies. It will enable them to reflect and empower PWD and conceptualize ways to design intervention strategies with a rights-based approach. The idea is to converge all the aspects of well-being, health, and disability with a larger goal of inclusion of all and accessibility. This is an effort to understand the needs of persons with disability to facilitate inclusive development in the country.
