Dr. Lata Das, holds a doctoral degree in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences. She has varied experience in outreach, training, administration and management of health related interventions. Her work has been with different social groups- street childre,. sex workers, migrant workers in the area of HIv/AIDS prevention. Her research interests include : Mental health, Children at Risk, Family and Children Social Work Intervention ,HIV/AIDS, Women and health. Currently, she works as a Faculty With Centre for Lifelong Learning, School of Social Work at Tata Institute of Social Sciences,Mumbai and engaged for a dercade in the field of adult learning – both teaching and research. She was awarded ICMR ( Indian Council of Medical Research) Senior Research Fellowship from September 2008- May, 2013.
