Working in the field of Public Health with special interest on Social Epidemiology, Social Determinants, Medical Sociology, Medical Profession, Health Systems, Health Services (Provisions, Access, Utilisations with reference to vulnerable categories) etc. Recent work is on Health and nutritional issues of adolecent girls in Ashram schools, Malnutrition, Maternal and Child Health of tribals, Morbidity prevalence, Road Trafic Injuries etc.
