Dr. Neelam Yadava joined the School of Rural Development as a faculty member in 2010. She has worked with the Indian Council of Agricultural Research Project of NAIP in the North West Himalayas. She has completed her studies at GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, specializing in Agriculture Extension and Communication (Major) and Social Sciences (Minor).
- Her doctoral research was “Designing Training Module on Entrepreneurship Behaviour for Women Engaged In Sericulture: A Study in Uttarakhand.” She has also cleared the NET exam conducted by the Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board, India.
- Post Graduate Certificate in Market Research and Data analytics (2021), Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad (MICA)
- She has developed and coordinated an MA in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship. She is the Presiding officer of the Internal Complaint Committee (ICC), at the Tuljapur campus, TISS.
- Develop course materials for MA Social Work as part of the ePG Pathshala to be offered by Ministry of Human Resource Development, MOOC's program in 2017. course contents on Environment, Climate Change and Development/Natural Resources Management and Sustainable Rural Development/ Forestry and Wasteland Development/ Management of Land and Water Resources.
- Mentoring for various Enterprise Development for ideation, planning, financial modelling and execution. Some of them are -
1. Organiko-Beautifying Life, a Social Venture creating livelihood for marginalized people, India's first Donkey Milk Soap. Creating a positive impact on local communities. From the very beginning, the motive is to make the optimum use of the untapped resources and helping the people from rural communities simultaneously by employing them.
2. Avtar, Transforming waste into resources, A waste management initiative In Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
3. Suvi Corporation, a proprietorship firm which aims to spread awareness regarding menstrual hygiene among women and provide PRO MISS – Make a pad habit sanitary napkins at an affordable price to the low-income group in West Bengal.
She has presented many research papers at national conferences organized by various universities nationwide.
