Ritesh Shahi is an Assistant Professor at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Tuljapur Campus. He received his Bachelor's degree in Commerce from the University of Delhi and his Master's degree in Social Entrepreneurship from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. He also holds a Master of Philosophy degree in Management and Labor Studies.
His research examines how the psychological traits of CEOs and entrepreneurs impact the performance and outcomes of organizations. He primarily uses quantitative content analysis to investigate this area, and his work is guided by the Upper Echelon Theory.
Prior to joining TISS, he worked as a Teaching Associate in the Business Ethics and Communication group at the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. Additionally, he has been the recipient of UGC's Junior Research Fellowship.
At TISS, he has taught various courses, including Business Ethics, Understanding the Social Enterprise Environment, and Project Management for Social Enterprises.
