Stephen Pamei is the current Chairperson of the Centre for Sociology and Social Anthropology. He did M.A In Sociology from University of Madras and obtained Ph.D from Pondicherry University.
He has published few articles in blind peer-reviewed journals and chapters in edited books. He also involved in M.A and B.A.S.S. course curriculum designing. His areas of research and teaching interest includes interdisciplinary courses, ethnicity and conflict, rural-urban networking, research method, social demography, environment and society, and cultural studies.
