Dr. Zubin R. Mulla is a Professor at the School of Management and Labour Studies at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS). He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Management from XLRI Jamshedpur, and a Doctorate in Management from XLRI Jamshedpur.

Prior to joining academics in 2005, he had worked in engineering design and management consulting for seven years. As a management consultant, he had led large scale transformation projects in the areas of manufacturing excellence, business process re-engineering, and service quality.

His areas of research interest include transformational leadership, values, impact of Indian cultural beliefs on organizational behaviour, meaning of work, careers, and evidence-based management. He has published several articles in Indian and international journals. His pioneering contribution has been in conceptualizing and validating the construct of Karma-Yoga in management literature.

At TISS, he has taught courses in Quantitative Research Methods, Compensation, Power and Leadership in Organizations, and Moral Leadership.
